Ray's Magic
Ray Anderson unveils six incredible illusions to titillate the Esther's audiences! In the Aladdin-inspired LAMP, a belly dancer appears magically, mysteriously floats into the rafters and disappears in a dramatic finale. In THE CLAW, Ray reenacts an illusion attempted only once by the late GEORGE (the second greatest magician in the world after Houdini) by handcuffing himself to a steel contraption as a flame burns through a rope suspending a set of jagged teeth perilously above. In his newest illusion, TATTOOED, Ray descends from on high to find himself hypnotized by a wild-haired wizardess, trapped in a contraption with razor-sharp knife blades slicing him into pieces, then magically reunited with his body! Come see how he escapes carnage time and time again, and keeps the audiences laughing!

History
Esther's Follies began as a by-product of a pool parlor, called Esther's Pool, on East Sixth Street April Fool's Day, 1977. Conceived as a combination topical vaudeville/satirical musical comedy revue, Esther's Follies has grown to become the state's premier comedy complex, garnering national praise and a loyal following.
